• Notes: Manheim Township defeated Wilson 3-0 in last year’s Class 3A final. It was the Blue Streaks’ eighth title in the past 10 years and 13th in the last 18. ... Hempfield has defeated three teams in the 3A field. The Black Knights handed Manheim Township two of its losses, 5-0 during the regular season and 3-0 in the L-L final, and defeated both No. 5 seed Dallastown and No. 8 Penn Manor 4-1. Hempfield is making its 20th district appearance and will be going for its sixth title. … Manheim Central’s two losses were to two teams it has played in the 3A field: 3-2 vs. Penn Manor and 5-0 against Manheim Township. … The Blue Streaks defeated Penn Manor 4-1 in their L-L Section 1 matchup while the Comets include a 3-2 win over No. 11 seed Central Dauphin and a 3-2 loss to Dallastown on their slate. Township is in the field for the 27th time and has 20 titles. ... Second-seeded Lancaster Catholic upset No. 1 seed Wyomissing 3-0 in last year’s 2A final. The Crusaders defeated Annville-Cleona 4-1 in L-L Section 3 play this season and topped No. 2 seed Lampeter-Strasburg 3-1 in the L-L team tournament. The Pioneers didn’t play any other 2A teams during the regular season, but include a 4-1 Section 2 loss to Manheim Central and 4-1 win over Donegal among their regular-season schedule.
