Becky Ort
I’m excited to join the Donegal family as an assistant coach for Junior High Basketball. I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education, a masters in Special Education with a concentration in Autism, a masters in Educational Leadership, and a certification as an ESL teacher. I taught in York City for 13 years where I am currently an Emotional Support Teacher.
Basketball has always been a passion of mine since I started playing in 6th grade. I played at the varsity level in high school from 7th to 12th grade where I built upon my talent year after year. After having children, I coached recreational basketball for a few years and then moved into high school coaching at Donegal in 2021.
As a teacher and a coach, it is my mission to ensure that every student and player is trained in life skills they need to be successful throughout life.
We never learn unless we try.
